Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville resort comes to Poconos with hotel, restaurants, RV park and bungalows

As Citizens Voice reports, the resort village of Margaritaville is slated for the site of the former Pocono Manor hotel in Tobyhanna Township, Monroe County.

Construction is expected to begin next year, with an expected opening in mid-2024, the company said.

Jim Wiseman, president of development at Margaritaville, said in a statement that the combination of the Pocono Mountains and the Margaritaville resort brand would provide a one-of-a-kind retreat for “those seeking fun, relaxation and a backdrop of background of lakes and mountains.

“We at Margaritaville are known for our sense of getting away from it all and we look forward to bringing our vacation lifestyle to the area with the first Margaritaville Resort Village,” Wiseman said in the quoted company press release. by Citizens Voice.
