The restaurants at the Lido complex on the property of the Elbow Beach hotel, a staple of the island’s dining scene since 1992, have closed until early March.
Resort restaurants include Café Lido; Seabreeze lounge and terrace; and Mickey’s Beach Bistro, the latter already closed due to hurricane damage impeding access.
A post on the Lido Complex’s Facebook page said it was “ending for a short winter break”.
He added that the Lido “will use the time to continue working on new goals, ambitious plans and aspirations for the coming season”.
The message continued: “We look forward to welcoming you back through our doors soon and we promise not to settle for anything less than the best for you!
“To stay in touch and get exciting updates on our reopening date and more, follow us on our social media pages.”
A spokeswoman for MEF Limited, which operates the restaurants, said: ‘The Lido complex is closed for a short time during the quiet winter months in order to make necessary renovations and improve facilities for the coming season .
“We apologize to our customers for any inconvenience this may cause, but we look forward to reopening in early March.”
