Le Pigeon will soon offer private dining in hotel rooms
Following in the footsteps of restaurants and hotels across the country, Le Pigeon will begin serving three-course meals in private rooms within Jupiter Hotel Next. Portland restaurants are still technically closed for indoor dining, but since renting a hotel room isn’t out of the question in 2021, the Pigeon team can still serve diners directly as a kind of “room service”. Starting Feb. 12, guests can enjoy dinners for two or four hosted in private hotel rooms, with dishes like lobster vichyssoise, sherry-glazed short ribs with marrow-roasted pears and pandan panna cotta. Meals start at $100 per person with 20% gratuity, with extras like wine pairings or Hey Love cocktails; $10 of each ticket price will go to Feed the Mass. Guests can add an additional $89 for those wishing to reserve the room for one night. Reservations can be made online; the hotel pop-up runs until March 6th. [EaterWire]
