Amazon Web Services launches a new healthcare cohort

Amazon Web Services (AWS) introduces AWS Healthcare Accelerator, which will focus on health equity. The new program builds on the $40 million AWS Health Equity Initiative, a three-year global commitment to support innovations in the space. Both solutions are part of AWS for Health, a collaboration between AWS services and AWS Partner Network solutions.

NFTs used for hotel and resort bookings

Available hotel rooms are converted into non-fungible tokens (NFTs) to allow customers to buy and sell reservations similar to how concert tickets are resold on third-party operators like Stubhub. The move is intended to help hotel owners reduce excess inventory caused by last-minute cancellations while providing guests with some flexibility.

FinTechs get zero fraud guarantee for inbound digital transfers

Stripe apps provide a one-stop shop for users, allowing developers to expand their reach

Stripe introduces Stripe Apps and Stripe App Marketplace to create an interdependent hub for payment-related apps and also give developers a place to build and publish apps. The Stripe App Marketplace includes apps from DocuSign, Dropbox, Intercom, Mailchimp, Ramp, and Xero with more being added.
